From the founders
We started with a problem we experienced ourselves.
We love travelling, whether we’re hiking in the Lake District, road-tripping through Scotland, exploring galleries in Paris or relaxing in a sauna in Iceland. Wherever we went, though, our plans often ended up looking the same: messy planning, recommendations saved across different apps, bookings we were unsure about, and routes that made us go back and forth.
These experiences inspired us to create Resonat. We chose the name because we want travellers’ journeys to resonate with each other, allowing every great experience to live beyond a single trip and become something others can discover, adapt and enjoy.
We’d love to hear about your own travel experiences, ideas or planning struggles. Feel free to email either of us at yingbo.fu@resonat.uk and yanting.sun@resonat.uk.

Our mission
Closing the gap between inspiration and a working plan
At Resonat, our mission is to preserve the authenticity of traveller-created recommendations while giving them the structure to become genuinely useful, reusable plans. We help people turn real travel experiences into journeys they can discover, adapt and share with confidence, while keeping personal judgement and individual travel styles at the heart of every decision. Travel planning made simpler, built from real experiences and shaped by you.
How we build
Our principles
Practical before impressive
A plan that actually holds together matters more than one that just looks good in a screenshot.
Structured but flexible
Enough structure to make a plan reusable and checkable, without flattening it into something generic.
Trustworthy recommendations
When Resonat flags a risk or suggests a default, it should be clear why, in plain travel terms.
Shaped by real journeys
We listen to the people who plan, share and reuse journeys. Your experiences, ideas and feedback shape what we build next, helping Resonat stay practical, relevant and genuinely useful for every traveller.
